Jaguar x type - Used car

Jaguar x type - Used car - FISH0504
Hi all,
I am hoping to purchase an used jaguar x type 2.1 v6 petrol engine on a 54 plate.
The price is £2695 with 61,000 on the clock and full service history.
Can anyone help me with details about this car,is there anything to check over at the dealers before purchase and anything else I need to know with anything electrical problems that could be associated with the x type.
This will be my first ownership of a jaguar as have always had fords,

This "jag" was made by Ford, it is based on the Mondrp floor pan.

The sills rot terribly, just like a 60's car.

In exactly the same way that the Bentley Continental is "made" by VW on the Phaeton floorpan and the same way a Range Rover Evoque, LR Freelander and Volvo S/C/XC 60/70/80 are on the Mondeo floorpan.

For long distance trips best car I have ever had. However it had lots of problems, but all associated with the 2.2 diesel, so I only owned it 18 months,

There are excellent owners club sites who will give some real life ownership stories.
