Have you serviced it? changed fuel filter? doing shorter runs / and or from cold start in winter makes for much worse fuel consumption. Give it a fill up with V-power and give it a bit of a blast up the dual carriageway, or try adding a fuel additive to clean injectors ets, all cheap alternatives.
