Hi all,can anyone help with this one.
Xsara Estate 1.6, the sevice indicator on the dash resets itself 3 to 4 times a year for no reason. As usual Citreon could find no fault when in for service. Not a major problem, just anoying.

By the way,here is a list of problems so far.
- Drivers airbag replaced.
- Airbag warning lights on, wires under seats faulty.
- Leaking oil, oil filter put on too tight when in for service.
- Leaking coolant, thremostat housing replaced.
Not bad for an 18 month old car!

My maintenance indicator sometimes resets to zero and flashes when it thinks my usage is equivalent to harsh driving conditions or low miles especially in cold weather. This is covered albeit somewhat obscurely in the handbook (I can't find it today though!). When I then go on a journey corresponding to 'normal' driving conditions the indicator resets to the 'proper' mileage due before service.
