Peugeot 407 SW - Timing belt change - rgt1973

Anyone give me a definative answer on the belt change interval? Just bought mine and has service history . Last service was at 83000 miles and it was recomended then. It now has 93000 miles on it and can't see any record of the belt being done. Have heard some say the interval is up to 15000 miles or 10 years!

Depends on the age of the car it will say in the service book at what intervals it needs changing,eg 54 plate 1.6hdi was 150k a 54 plate 2.0hdi was 100k 2009 both 1.6hdi and 2.0hdi change is at 150k.This is due to long life belts being fitted on later models when the change was is anybodys guess so look in the service book.
