Misfiring BMW 318i

My wife puchased an 08 reg BMW 318i last September. The engine sometimes misfires.

I read on your website and in a letter in today's paper that the 2.0-litre 4 cylinder petrol engine is prone to injector and coil problems.

Could you tell me if a misfire is a possible result of these components malfunctioning?

What other symptoms might we experience? The car was purchased from a BMW main dealer and has twelve months warranty.

Definitely. Needs urgent attention or the misfire will spike and destroy the catalytic converter. More here: www.honestjohn.co.uk/carbycar/bmw/3-series-e90-200...d
