Buying a new small 4x4
Very much enjoy your website & Telegraph articles. Are you able to suggest a replacement for our much loved Fabia VRS. The replacement needs to be 4x4, 4m long (give or take a few mm), have 5 doors, be nippy (0-60 in 10secs 'ish) and tolerate local shopping runs so no DPFs.

Skoda Yeti 1.8TSI 160 4WD. By far the best and most fun in the Yeti range. Much more fun than a Golf GTI. Test and video:

All new 4 cylinder diesels have DPFs so they're all out of the picture.
