Track suit?

I am shortly due to take delivery of a new Audi S3 Sportback. It has been recommended to me that I install some sort of tracking device. It seems that thieves like small, fast, four-door cars and firstly I'd like to minimise chances of theft while secondly perhaps have some benefit in my insurance premiums. I live in central London and drive the car only at weekends and probably 5 times a month. It is left for long periods of time parked on the street. Audi installs and recommend a system called CobraTrak 5. There is a rival system from Tracker and various others provided by different companies. Different systems have a mixture of GPS / GSM and VHF transmiters / DVLA notification etc. Can you give me any advice?

Tracker seems to be the biggest one and the system most used by the police. Though obviously if you have the link to your PC or laptop a GPS system allows you track the car until the thieves find it and remove it.
