I bought this car on March 25th 2024. After the initial test drive I was impressed and proceeded with the purchase price which was £21500 which I consider a good price for a car that had only covered 2700 miles. After the dealer delivered the car I started to explore its functions only to find that the car was taking 25 hours for a full charge on my 7kw charger. According to the manual this should be about 10.5 hrs. I could not set the maximum charge that I wanted as per the charging options screen. Th MG Smart app will not work with the car and the Vehicle to load function does not work either. The car has an annoying rattle in the back of the car. The MG dealer has been unable to identify the rattle, they haven't been able to explain why it takes 25 hours to charge the car or why the app doesn't work. They have lodged a query with MG with regards to the inability to set the charging level. MG have agreed to send a new part to fix the V2L issue which was apparently due to them not fitting this component during a chip shortage but they never made this aware to any customers. All in all a very disappointing experience with what appears to be a very well made car. Actual range on a motorway is about 160 mile as opposed to and expected 200 miles. Would I buy another MG. NO!
