Is the Honda Jazz any good for motorway driving?
The Honda Jazz fits the bill for me. It's spacious and well built, as well as being compact. The only thing holding me back is that the 1.3-litre petrol engine seems like it would get a bit breathless on my 25 mile commute, involving a 12 mile motorway stretch. Do you know whether the forthcoming 1.0-litre turbo charged petrol engine in the new Honda Civic will come into the Jazz? If so, do you know when?

The 1.3 i-VTEC CVT-7 is better on the motorway than the manual because it is higher geared and therefore more relaxed. Yes, the 1.0 Turbo was developed in the Jazz, so will eventually come.

Bigger than previous Civic, independent rear suspension means better ride and handling, 1.0 VTEC turbo petrol is excellent while i-DTEC diesel is very refined.
