How can I check if my car has Autoglym Lifeshine?

When I bought my Skoda Octavia new it was treated with Autoglym Lifeshine.
When I took delivery of the vehicle I did not receive a Lifeshine warranty document. I contacted Autoglym to see if my treatment had been registered. It had not.

I contacted the dealer who said that there "had been a problem with their computers " and they hadn't registered my vehicle. I eventually did get a warranty document, but my concern is that the vehicle was never treated.
Is there any way of checking for certain?

Take it to Autoglym and have them do some tests on the paint surface. If the treatment was never applied, then you have a civil action against the dealer for the cost and a criminal action against the dealer for fraud.
