Mazda 6 problems

I have owned a 2014 Mazda 6 auto Tourer now for nearly a year and travelled over 20k in this time. I have had a couple of issues.

Firstly, prior to a scheduled service at around 38k, I had an oil warning light flash up regarding the oil pressure. The advice being to stop driving and contact Mazda Service. The issue turned out to be contaminated oil, which was resolved under the manufacturer's warranty.

The second issue concerns brake judder. My vehicle definitely suffers from some minor judder when initially braking from 50/60mph. This has been mentioned to Mazda and no obvious issues have been found when the vehicle has been serviced. Any advice on this issue?

Presumably this is a Skyactiv diesel? If so, the oil warning light will probably be due to contaminated oil and a raised sump oil level because the DPF has not been regenerating properly. If you stop the car during a regeneration (which happens every 250 miles), the extra fuel pumped into the engine to actively regenerate the DPF will sink into the sump.

The brake judder might be due to slightly warped discs from sitting on the brakes after a long brake (for example into a roundabout). The part of the disc clamped by the pads cannot cool at the same rate as the rest of the disc. Alternatively the callipers may be dragging slightly and need greasing with Copperease.
