Honda automatics - are they any good?

What is your opinion on the reliability and effectiveness of Honda automatics? I'm thinking of buying a Civic Tourer or CR-V.

Excellent. The five-speed torque converter auto is older tech, but virtually bulletproof. We have one in a special Thai market Jazz in Thailand. Latest CR-V 1.6iDTECs have a new nine-speed torque converter auto.
