Can I drive my Vauxhall Corsa without wing mirrors?

During the night some scumbag stole my Vauxhall Corsa SRI's door mirrors. I have now discovered that this was a limited edition and Vauxhall no longer manufactures door mirrors for this particular model. However, they were able to supply the name of a company who will manufacture replacements with a time scale of 7 to 10 days. What I cannot establish is whether I can still drive the car without door mirrors until replacements are manufactured.

It's illegal to drive trucks without door mirrors. I don't think it is for cars. Old cars don't have to have them. Just get some door mirrors for an ordinary Corsa.
