Do all Honda CR-Vs make a lot of road noise, or is it caused by my tyres?

I have a 3-year-old Honda CR-V 2.0 automatic. I get a lot of road noise - is this a general problem with this vehicle or is it the type of tyres fitted? Currently they are Dunlop ST30 Grandtrek.

It wasn't a problem I encountered with the CR-V I ran for six months, and that was on 18-inch wheels. Pirelli Scorpions should be quieter.
