Buying a new car - Audi Q3 or A3?

I want to buy a new Audi, but can't decide between the diesel Q3 or A3. Which of these would you recommend as the best car in terms of running costs and low cabin noise?

Neither. I wouldn't have a diesel. But of the two, the A3 because it is on the new MQB subframes and the Q3 isn't.
