Replaced wheel bearing now an advisory on MoT after less than 4k miles

Back in August last year I had my front driver side wheel bearing replaced. However, less than four thousand miles later, my regular garage has told me that the recently replaced wheel bearing is now an MoT advisory as it has a small amount of play.

Should I take it back to the original garage and get them to replace the wheel again or fix the problem? Or should I pay my regular garage to do the work and peruse the other garage for payment?

Yes. Get it back to the original garage. You can't get them to pay for a repair elsewhere.
