Toyota extended my warranty after replacing the engine in my RAV4.

I bought my 2007 Toyota RAV4 new with a three-year warranty. It has always been serviced at a Toyota dealer and after its five year 50,000 mile service in December 2012 I was told that there was a problem with the head gasket and that Toyota would replace the engine free of charge. On further enquiry, I was told that Toyota had extended the engine warranty to seven years or 110,000 miles. This is great service and shows another advantage of a main dealer service even after the warranty has expired.

It also confirms that Toyota is the most honest manufacturer in the world regarding extended warranties and goodwill when it gets something wrong.
