Need an economical 4x4 to pull a horse trailer - what do you recommend?

I want to buy a new 4x4; however, it must be economical and capable of pulling a 2000kg horse trailer. What do you recommend?

Most middleweight manual 4WD SUVs will tug 2,000kg as long as that is the maximum weight of horse and trailer. I guess a Mazda CX5 2.2 Skyactiv 150 4WD diesel would be the most economical.
