Can you recommend a suitable replacement for my Clio?
I currently have a 2006 Clio Expression 1.2 16v and I want a new five-door car with air conditioning. I do around 10,000 miles per year, mostly locally, with one round trip per week of 100 miles and a few drives to Scotland and Cornwall for holidays. What could I get for under £12,000?

The forthcoming new Dacia Sandero seems to be the bargain of the Clio range, with prices starting at £5995 and some very serious engine bargains between £7395 and £8395 that would cost £5000 more in the stylish and upmarket Clio. See: www.honestjohn.co.uk/carbycar/dacia/sandero-2013/

Unbelievably cheap for this size of car, generous interior space and a big boot, reasonably comfortable to drive.
