Car mats
I am buying a used toyota prius, which is fitted with toyota recomendid mats , the dealer insists that because of health & safety I have to buy new replacments mats is this true.

What? However, dodgy mats were blamed for sticking accelerator switches in Toyotas and Lexus in the USA and that might be what he is using to try to make a bit more money out of you.

Am I alone in just needing to replace the driver's mat? Can you help please? Is there anywhere I can buy just a driver's side mat, or just the front pair, for my 2006 Honda Civic?
