Ford Fiesta mis-sold

My daughter bought a car on finance with my help. The salesman on the test drive pointed out that it had a heated front windscreen, which is essential for us. Now the ice is here, we find that this was only for a Zetec model.

This was a confirmation of specifications for the car that we wanted but only verbal information. How do we stand as we bought this for the windscreen on the front being heated as an essential.
