I'm looking for a new car to replace my Astra

I currently own a Vauxhall Astra CDTi (120) - it's lovely but is seven years old and needs to be replaced. I am currently considering a Ford Focus or Nissan Qashqai. I like a car with a bit of thrust, and drive about 10,000 miles a year on business. It needs to be smart, economical to run – and I have elderly parents who can't manage sport seats, so it needs to be easy to get in and out of. I'm also thinking of purchasing via PCP.

I take my mum shopping, so it needs reasonable boot space, and will also use it to drive to Cornwall from Eastbourne on holiday (with grandson still in child seat).

Can you help me with this please?
