A4 Avant wandering on its big wheels

I bought a 2008 Audi A4 Avant S-line just over a year ago but have always found that on roads with uneven surfaces (not rough surfaces) it has a tendency to wander and is easily deflected by white lines. It can be very unnerving. The Audi garage say there is no problem (and I agree that it handles well on the smooth roads near the dealership) but on the Yorkshire Dales roads near my home it's frightening. I've had the tracking checked and checked the tyre pressures - all correct. This is the fourth Audi I have owned over a period of 18 years but the first which has shown such vices. Could it be the low profile tyres?

It's the stupid low profile tyres. Switch to 16" wheels, have the suspension realigned and the steering angle sensor re-set and the problem will disappear.
