Incorrect warranty repair?

The head gasket was renewed on my 2010 Peugeot 207 under manufacturer warranty. The failure resulted in oil leaking into the coolant system. The coolant system was not flushed and now there is still oil in the coolant system and the resevoir is black and stained.

Should the repair have included flushing the system and cleaning or renewing the reservoir. Should the cambelt have been renewed?

Yes, it should have done. Yes, the timing belt should definitely have been replaced. They are not re-usable after having been tensioned.
