New insurance after a crash?

Just crashed my car and the insurance company is more than likely writing it off. I'm not sure how it works with insuring the replacement. Will it be a new quote or Will I still continue with the old insurance plus or minus the price depending on the car I will buy?

Any idea how much my car insurance will go up next year? It was my own fault with nobody else involved. Just my car and wall.

If it is the first year of the insurance contract, the payout usually terminates it. if it is 2nd or 3rd year, you usually get a time limit to replace the car and after that the insurance is terminated with a pro rata refund minus a stiff admin charge.
