Where's the engine number on a Fiesta?

Can you advise me where to find the engine identification number on a Ford Fiesta 1.2 R-reg?

Have you looked at the V5 (vehicle registration doc) for the car? It should be on there. If not then look at the nearside of the engine block, at the front of the engine compartment.
