Flawed Mondeo?

I have the excellent new style late 2007 2.0 litre diesel Mondeo with the 6-speed Durashift automatic box, 55,000 miles, fully maintained. I am thinking of keeping this for another year or two. Are there any gearbox issues that may cause problems in the next 30,000 miles or so?

No. Good combination. Especially as the torque converter autobox avoids dual mass flywheel problems. The engine and transmission have been endurance tested in about 3,000 Addison Lee Ford Galaxy taxis since 2007. Slight chance you might need a new DPF by 85k.
