The harder they come….

I have recently bought a Skoda Yeti 140CR 4x4. I am extremely pleased with it in every way with the reservation that the ride is fairly hard and makes my wife queasy. It has 17-inch alloys (which came as standard) with Pirelli Zero Rosso 225/50 ZR17 tyres. Would a different tyre be likely to help?

You would have to change the wheels as well, for example to 16" with 205/55 tyres, and this will cost you about £1,000, minus anything you could get from selling the 17" wheels and tyres. Most Yetis come on 17" wheels. The owners love them, but yours is a very common complaint.
