I asked you about a replacement for my BMW X3 3.0 Diesel 35 Sport, which is now over three years old. You replied, “You can now get a 3.0 litre diesel motor in the new F25 X3, which is vastly better than the previous one.” Thanks for reply which is of no help what so ever!

Totally useless answer as I could have told you that BMW don't yet make a 3-litre version of X3, which is why I asked your opinion!

But they do. Announced 15th August 2011: 259PS BMW X3 xDrive30d and 313PS BMW X3 xDrive35d.
