Honda CRV new shape - steering problem

In March I purchased a 2007 (early new shape) Honda CR-V manual, petrol with 29,000 miles. Has 17" tyres.

Above 50mph the steering seems to want to wander and I have to consciously control this all the time. The Honda dealership in Chester took it back immediately and said they checked everything but could see no problem and suggested I "put a few miles on the clock then see if I felt the same" and suggested it was how CR-Vs are. I have done about 2000 and it is still the same.

But my 8 year old Accord had faultless steering for all the 5 years I had it.

Any advice will be welcome as this is spoiling a nice car for me.

First swap the front wheels and tyres side to side. If that doesn't work, have a four way laser alignment at a branch of www.alignmycar.co.uk
