Which tyres for S-MAX?

I've got an S-Max 2.2 Diesel - a fine car that I'm pleased with.

I got it from Ford Direct with odd tyres on it, though, something I wouldn't normally mix up. They are a mixture of Michelin Primacy HP and Continental Sportcontact 2. Size is 235/45-18. I need to replace 1 of each on the front, but which to choose?

I use the car alone around town most days, with 45 mile trips twice a week, and occasional 200 milers with wife and small kids. I also own a caravan, a broad range of use, I suppose.

Primacy HP best. Pilot Super Sports will grip better but are dearer and won't last as long.
