How can I make hands-free calls in my Honda CR-V?

I've recently bought a 2018 Honda CR-V. I thought that it had a proper hands-free phone kit but I've discovered that once it's imported my phonebook/contacts I actually have to manually scroll through the phone book to select the person to dial which isn't hands-free at all.

I used to have a Parrot hands-free system in a previous car that let me speak to it. Do you know of something similar that I can fit into the Honda?

Have you tried making use of the voice control system? It's not foolproof in the CR-V but it should allow you to ask the car to ring individual contacts by name. Failing that, traditional aftermarket hands-free systems from companies such as Parrot and Jabra still exist. By far the simplest to install, though, is the Amazon Echo Auto - it's a simple Bluetooth connection and can make and receive calls via voice control when connected to your phone and car.
