Do speed ratings on tyres need to match?

I have damaged a comparatively new tyre and need a replacement. It is proving difficult to match load and speed ratings. The damaged tyre (and remaining other tyres) are rated 94W but so far I can only find 91Y rating. How important is it to match these ratings exactly? Would 91Y be compatible?

We wouldn't worry unduly about the speed rating in this instance. 'W' means it's rated up to 168mph and 'Y' means 186mph, and we don't expect you'll be achieving either on the road. However bear in mind that there is a 55kg difference between the load ratings here (615-670kg), which matters if you're towing heavy trailers or regularly fully loaded.
