Does the 2022 Kia Niro have a loud reversing alarm?

Does the 2022 Kia Niro HEV or PHEV have the loud external reversing alarms that the previous model features?

Yes, Kia tells us that both the Niro HEV and PHEV have the VESS system installed. This cannot be turned off on either model for MY22, as regulations state this is an active safety feature.
