Toyota Verso on Winter tyres

Just bought my third Toyota Verso, which comes without a spare wheel. Thinking of buying four steel wheels with winter tyres. Can I put a steel wheel and tyre in the boot during the summer, and conversely, an alloy wheel with tyre during the winter? This would be an emergency get to the garage wheel only.

No reason why not if treated only as an emergency wheel with speed restricted to a max of 80km/h. That assumes there is somewhere to store it in the car.
