Jazz banned

I have a Honda Jazz, just one year old. I drove it out of the garage on to the driveway, went indoors to get golf stuff to put in the boot, tried to drive off, but the car would not start. The AA came to my rescue but said that this was a fault with many modern cars. From a cold start, you must leave the car for 10 minutes before attempting to restart (or leave the engine running - dangerous if unattended). I thought that modern cars, Honda in particular, were supposed to be reliable. What do you think?

The AA is right. They are saying what I have been saying for 14 years. Fill an engine with neat petrol by starting it, then switch off and you will be in trouble. So, next time, put the clubs in before you start the car. (Don't leave it idling on the drive or someone will nick it.)
