Fraud squabble

If a company gives me a warranty for 6 months, am I covered for inherited faults or just parts mentioned?

No warranty covers you for inherited faults that preceded the inception of the warranty. Claiming in this circumstance would amount to fraud in the same way as taking our fire insurance on a building that was already burning. However if a dealer sells you a car for a fair retail price he is obliged by law to guarantee that car for 6 months. Any faults that develop within 6 months will be considered to have been present or developing when the car was sold to you unless the dealer can prove otherwise. See the FAQ at hjuk.
