Can I disable the electronic handbrake in my car during lockdown?
I have a 2019 Skoda Karoq auto, which I am not using due to the current coronavirus lockdown. It seems I cannot park it without the handbrake turning itself on. I've checked the manual but there appears to be no way to disconnect this feature. Any thoughts on how I can avoid this risk of handbrake locking on?

When we asked Skoda, it said: "We advise against manually disengaging the electronic handbrake. Every new SKODA comes with three years warranty and Roadside Assistance therefore if a customer believes they have a problem with their car they should contact SKODA Roadside Assistance who will be able to repair or recover the vehicle safely from their home."
