Note the difference

I purchased my Nissan Note Acenta 1.6 just two years ago and have used it for 16,700 virtually trouble free miles. Its recent annual service has revealed tyre tread depths of 3mm rear and 4mm front and so I must consider replacing them all round. Like other owners, as reported on your website, I find the ride a little on the firm side and wonder if changing to another tyre make would result in a more comfortable ride over our increasingly pot-holed roads. I would appreciate any suggestions you are able to make.

Depends on the wheel and tyre size. The 2009 facelift model Note Acenta I tested last year has 15” alloy wheels with 185/65 R15 Michelin Energy tyres and they were fine. See: www.honestjohn.co.uk/news/road-tests/nissan/nissan...t If yours is on 16s you need to switch the wheels as well as the tyres to 15s to get a better ride.
