Downsizing without losing comfort?
I intend to downsize from my Jaguar XJ6 - very comfortable but expensive to tax, insure and service - to a small, second-hand car which will be our "second car".
Because of a bad back and dodgy hip I need something that will be reasonably comfortable and easy to get in/out of, preferably something that is in a low tax band (£0, £20 or £30 max per year). I have no set preferences as to make or model.
Can you make some suggestions please?

Surprisingly spacious small five-door city car. Makes best sense with 1.0 petrol engine. Much better than old Agila. Rebadged version of Suzuki Splash.

Stylish, good quality interior. Roomier and more mature than its predecessor. Refined for a small car and decent to drive.
