New car needed to accommodate wheelchair
I am 78. use a stick and wish to change my automatic diesel Ford Mondeo Ghia (04) for something with good access, a boot big enough and accessible enough to take a folded wheelchair (which I shall require in the future) and some verve! Needs to cost £20,000 inc trade-in to £26,000. Your advice would be greatly appreciated.

C-Max 2.0TDCI Powershift, or, much cheaper, Honda Jazz 1.4CVT-7 (from £14,500).

Neatly styled. Increased room and better performance than original Jazz. better to drive. Very versatile. CVT-7 returned in February 2011 replacing i-SHIFT. More reliable than first generation Jazz.
