Jaguar XF

The original XF marked a return to form for Jaguar and this second generation version looks to perfect that formula further. And it delivers on all fronts. It’s excellent to drive, luxuriously finished and packed with up-to-date technology. For someone seeking an alternative to the usual German executive saloons, the XF is perfect.

It has a little more character than some of its rivals and although Jaguar is still shaking off its 'old man' image, the R-Sport versions are a bit more exciting and actually kind of sporty looking. It's powered by the same 2.0-litre diesel that's used in the F-Pace and Land Rover Discovery Sport plus there's a 3.0-litre V6 diesel which is our favourite.
