Kia Soul

We know it's getting a little long in the tooth and the looks are somewhat 'challenging' but the price tag gives the Soul plenty of appeal. It's got decent interior space and is reasonably refined, plus being a Kia it's very unlikely to go wrong. And it comes with a seven-year warranty. You will have to settle for a Soul '1' with the 1.6-litre petrol, but it still comes with air conditioning, alloy wheels and DAB.
