  After some advice on ford engines, looking to upgrade the mrs focus currently she drives 55 reg 1.6 Petrol and looking to part ex it against something around 6-7k. Just trying to decide what engine would best suit our needs, I originally was looking at the 1.6 tdci but most of her trips are school run and 7 mile round trip to work with maybe a longer journey once a month,so from what I've read diesel wouldn't benefit us.

  Right when I brought the car the guy said he had a aftermarket radio in there and has replaced it back to a Ford 6000 cd but not the original one   now I've  wasted 6 tries entering the code from the book until I finally remembered the guy saying how it wasn't the original radio anyway after a bit of looking I found how to get serial number press 6 and 1 keep holding 6 while letting go of 1 etc etc when I do that it comes up with a load of random stuff this is what the first and second screen says ja cb at rw rl a   Cd 132 00 02 08 d-c  Now I know I could get radio out to get it and do it but I thought u geniuses may be able to tell me what I'm doing wrong to get the m000000 etc code or even the 4 digit code I need Sorry for the essay

  I'm really hoping someone can help me with this one! I have a 2002 Ford Fiesta 1.3. When accelerating it will hit about 50mph and then get stuck - I can put my foot all the way down on the accelerator and it will not go any faster. It gets stuck for about a minute, then judders and suddenly shoots forward and is fine.

  I took it round to the park and ride for the tram earlier and then brough it back (I am in Nottingham).  Car sounded normal when I drove it away from Fords.   It does not come on when car is started up. Only when you move forward.  Any ideas please before I take it back and confront Fords with it tomorrow? Thanks. Wait to hear.

  [endif]--> Hello   I have brought a ford focus 1.8 tdci lx from a garage but within a month of having the car i noticed a lack of power followed by the engine management light coming on i have taken this back to the garage under warranty and he first tried telling me it is a faulty sensor that is attached to the turbo and as such is an electrical component and i would have to purchase a new turbo as it is part of the unit.

  Last month I added about 150 ml of Halford Part Synthetic 5W30 engine oil to my Ford Focus. I always have it serviced at a Ford garage and they use Ford Motorcraft engine oil when they change the oil. After topping up with the Halford oil, I noticed when checking the level on the dipstick that the oil seemed to go a fair way up the length of the dipstick and there wasn't a definite level on the dipstick.

  Hi I am trying to install a old style (standard size) Ford 2006 RDS head unit into the old 89 polo, as it's original head unit has died, and as the rest of the car is not far behind I do not want to spend money on a new head unit.
