Volkswagen Polo GTI 2015 DSG 1.8 TSI - Need to reject / swap car 21 Mar 2016 (Forum)
The dealership were the only people to know about my Fiesta.. but instantly denied any knowledge of my number being given out.. as they do. I collected my brand new Polo GTI in October 2015, (it's on PCP) from a franchised VW Dealer, and when it came to signing the agreement, they suddenly increased the monthly payment by £8 a month, which wasn't mentioned when I ordered the car. -

Ford Focus - Ford Focus 1.8 TDCI 2006 EGR + MANIFOLD removal 28 Dec 2016 (Forum)
Hi...I've got a problem, (well obviously) I have a Ford Focus 1.8 TDCI 2006 (Lynx Engine), the "Engine Systems Fault" message has come up, frankly I'm too cheap to go to the Ford garage for them to tell me the code. I am in "limp home mode" so driving is a no go. -
Ford Focus - Validity of driveway diagnosis vs dealer? 12 Feb 2016 (Forum)
I have a Ford Focus. End of last year it developed a yellow engine warning light situation and a sporadic misfire. I got it serviced by Ford and they told me it needed a new ignition coil. I thought this strange as I would have thought that an ignition coil problem would have resulted in a more continuous misfire. -

Ford Focus st line 1.5 - Pothole damage 7 Jan 2025 (Forum)
He concurred that the tyres were okay BUT said the rear axle was out of alignment and recommended taking it to a Ford dealer. Local Ford dealer referred me to a 4 wheel alignment garage and car booked in for Monday morning. Sounds like it is going to be an expensive repair. Any thoughts or suggestions very welcome as am feeling thoroughly fed up (polite term). -
2008 Ford Kuga diesel 4X4 - Shudder under acceleration 5 May 2023 (Forum)
Good day all, hoping some of you ford guys may be familier with this fault. 2008 model year Ford Kuga diesel 4X4 shudders under acceleration, most prominent at 54mph, fault clears when you back off the throttle so no issues with wheels and tyres. a visual exam of driveshafts and propshaft reveal no obvious issues. -

Ford Fusion - Radio Code success :) 21 Jul 2019 (Forum)
Firstly my grateful thank's to those who patiently provide radio codes. Fitted new battery to my Ford Fusion 1.4 & lost radio, no code in manual so asked my friend Google who sent me here. Found the code generator and followed the instructions re hold 1 & 6 for Serial No. Sadly this did not work but a quick search of another Ford related page said if 1 & 6 didn't work try holding 2 & 6 - that worked. -

Ford - powershift transmission 18 Nov 2018 (Forum)
Hi all, just wondering why there seems to be a bit of a backlash against Fords powershift transmissions recently. Just about every review or road test on any car fitted with this seems to have "Avoid" written all over it. It is bemusing me somewhat as i had always previously read and understood this to be a superb transmission. -

Ford Fiesta Style Climate 1.25l - 2007 - Replacement coil springs 2007 Fiesta 1.2l 31 Dec 2017 (Forum)
I'm after replacement springs, both front and rear. I'll be going with Ford's own shocks (unless someone can suggest a price competative alternative), but the price of their springs are just ridiculous when compared with other manufacturer's coil springs, and they don't seem like they're exactly the most robust, either. -
Ford EcoSport - Compensation for lack of spare parts 14 Dec 2016 (Forum)
Thankfully her insurance company are still paying for a courtesy car. This car was financed through Ford Options. Having kept the payments up, should she be able to claw back this money, as she has been paying for a car she has not seen for almost a year now. Both the garage and insurance company put the blame firmly at Fords door for not having the ready availability of spare parts.
