  "Ford Spain has announced that from Monday (today) it is offering a 25% discount on 6,000 of the estimated 25,000 cars it has in stock. All models will be available at the discount until January 24, with the exception of the new designs of the Ka, Fiesta and Kuga."

The company denies this in the article. Apparently the plant builds 4.0 and 3.2 litre engines for Jaguar / Land Rover.

  My sons girlfriend has a 2001 Ford Ka. When she uses the windscreen wipers the engine cuts out. This is an intermittent problem but as we live in wales this is a big problem. Any idea's would be welcome. Moved over from Discussion

  Hello, My Ford Focus Esate 2001 reg has a faulty tailgate/boot lock. After a day trip found could not close the tailgate. The door does not open when driving but the tailgate will not fully close. Is it possible to do a DIY repair or adjust?

  I run a 2002 Ford Focus 1.6 Zetec 5 door hatch with 86000 miles covered. Recently the speedo has started to "flicker "occasionally between 50 - 70 mph. Is the speed sensor on its last legs, or is it something else? Comments gratefully accepted.

  There appears to be confusion as to when to renew the timing belt on a mk 1 Focus. I run a 51reg 1.6 zetec and my Ford dealer does not give a definitive answer. The book says 100,000 miles and other "experts" say 60 - 80.000 miles. My car has completed 81,000 miles. So what do contributors to this site have to say please?

  diesel is spraying from the top of one of the injectors on 1999 ford focus 1.8 diesel. i have noticed that the orange 'o' ring on this injector appears to be missing. it is visible on the other three. i have tried tightening the injector. does anyone know if i can just buy just the 'o' ring and is it difficult to change?

  With ford car t reg we have recently bought, when I change from first gear when pulling off it makes a funny noise sort of grating??? we were told dry thrust bearing? the clutch seems fine and all gear changes are smooth, it just makes this noise when changin up or down from 1st gear???

  Does anybody know what the minimum speed required is to set off both airbags of a Ford Focus in a front end collision? I was hit on the rear of my car by a focus which fired off both his airbags and he claims he was only doing 30mph is this possible? The impact was focused in on his passenger side front wing and bonet.

  I investigated the cause and it turns out that the water in the rear seems to be collecting in the boot rather than washing the screen. Now would you expect this to be covered under warranty on a 16month old car? Ford seem to say no, I think its a design flaw. Anyone else had a similar issue?

  My Ford KA brakes squeak when I am braking moderately to hard. Is this something I need to get seen to early? Also sometimes when I turn the steering makes a motor whir type sounds. I assume this is the PAS.

  The Ford Mustang keeps cropping up in the Saturday Telegraph motoring section the original article telling of the great troubles somebody went to import one from America.These cars are available of the peg any colour and spec at far below the prices stated in the article from Germany 36,000 euros for a loade Boss convertible listed in Auto magazine.Intead of looking over the Atlantic it may be more benificial to look over the channel.
