3.0 D - Jaguar XF reliability 27 Jun 2018 (Forum)
Its been there since 18th June & not a word from them. First of all though a bit of history: Back in December 2015 I kept getting a warning saying "Park Brake Fault" - to cut a longish story short it seems that Jaguar positioned the brake computer below the tube from the windscreen wash fluid bottle. When this leaked, water dripped on to the brake computer - Jaguar did pay the entire bill - over £1000. -
Hyundai i40 - Hyundai i40 Clutch Problems 5 Jul 2017 (Forum)
Hi all I have posted previously regarding my Hyundai i40 and the issues I was having with the clutch. My last post on this was in February 2015 when a modification was made to this as I had been having problems. I have learned since then, that the clutch can be an issue with this car. All has been well since my last post, until last week when this failed completely. -
Any - Excess Protect 21 Apr 2017 (Forum)
The thing that makes me wary was that I have protected NCB but when a car drove into mine in December 2015 my premium shot up on renewal the following November as the claim took 15 months to settle. In fact, the increase was significantly more than if I had lost 20% NCB and makes a nonsense of the concept. -

Subaru Legacy - Vehicle Road Tax Refund. 24 Dec 2014 (Forum)
Hi, I changed my car on 12th November which was taxed until 31st Jan 2015 and paid the tax on my new vehicle the same morning via the friendly salesman. We filled in the necessary paperwork and today I have received a one month rebate only, instead of the expected two ,obviously due to the salesman having no interest in me and my finances, so he has cost me £23.33 because of this new car tax system. -

test car variability 28 Dec 2013 (Forum)
Another reviewer, by contrast, commenting on the car’s chassis dynamics, suspension and damping, concludes that 'the good chaps at Suzuki have done an exceptional job on the S-Cross as it behaves very well on the road, with very little float and yaw, no matter how "enthusiastically" it’s driven'. HonestJohn's review, on the other hand, stresses that 'suspension can be a little bouncy', particularly on the lighter petrol engine, while David Ross in his Road Test notes: ' The ride is a touch on the firm side, particularly the rear suspension set-up which can be noisy over poor roads, but the majority of the time the S-Cross is comfortable and smooth. -

Throttle Hesitation in Xsara HDi 22 Mar 2013 (Forum)
It really does depend on the road type in terms of whether throttle re openings are a common occurrence. Apart from that it?s random except that the only time it occurs is with a throttle re opening. ·In all cases, it?s like as if the engine electronics is failing to recognise a change of load and is very slow to change from a lean mixture to a richer mixture. -
