  Following on from the "demise of PAG" thread, Bill Ford is no longer Chief Executive at Ford. An ex-Boeing boss (Allan Mullaly) now fills that post. Bill is still chairman. So all that has been rumoured based on what Bill Ford said may come about faster or not at all with a new chief exec.

  Not sure whether this is a discussion item or a technical question but here goes.. I have a Ford Focus 1.8Tddi (2002) which is not covered by any warranty (Fords has expired as non-Ford parts have been used in servicing). The problem is I get a fanbelt squeak from cold, I've checked all the pulleys and put a new belt on etc but to no avail.

  . WOULD ANYONE KNOW IF HE HAS A CASE AGAINST FORD because he feels he has followed fords service guidlines all along, and if he thought the timing belt wouldn\'t have lasted in accordance with fords guidelines, he would have changed it earlier. thanks porkpie

  The dealership has agreed it does indeed needed a replacement but since the vehicle is out of warranty, they will charge me almost £900. I have involved the ford customer relations and they have in fact said the same thing to them.
