  Just bought a 620 diesel to use as cheap runner, car drives fine but noise is transmitted through the gear linkage is this a common fault and if s easy to fix? thanks

  I am struggling with my Ford car radio RDS 4500 and need a code. The serial number is M277765.

  Can anyone advise please, the  Ford Fiesta in question has a Ford 6000 CD built in radio unit which is fully functional. However as everyone knows when the battery is changed the radio code will most likely need to be re entered.

  I've just been about to do some Ford Radio Codes for HJ members and have discovered that the "Puma People" Code Generator which everyone uses on here to generate codes has now been changed! To obtain a code for a given serial number now involves a 20 minute wait.

  I just need to listen to the radio back and forth from work and if i get lucky i might be able to dig out a few old cassette tapes from the garage to play. I got a code 1915 from a Ford dealer but it isnt working when entered. Serial Number off stereo is M005509, model is 5000NE. Can anyone out there help please ? BoB

  Hi Wondered if anyone can help. My Ford has approx 75000 on the clock.  2003 model. 1.4 engine. Last service August 2016.   Lately I've noticed particularly when I turn engine on that is makes a loud like raspy rattling side when idling.

  It has been recovered by the AA on six occasions in the last 18 months with a 'dead battery' following overnight parking. Our local Ford dealer have investigated 6 times and cannot find a fault, although on one occasion they replaced the battery. Any ideas on what might provide a permanent fix? Many thanks, Snape Owl

  Hi I have a 64 plate ford transit custom New Front subframe to fit, but it comes from ford with No threads in it to bolt the anti roll bar on. Ford technical say its correct and its fitted with self tapping bolts and keep sending normal bolts 3 times now.

  Hi, I have a 2002 ford ka with the endura engine about 85k miles. a few days ago it went from running well to develop a heavy missfire, will not pull and the engine light has come on. with the engine running lumpy I can remove plug lead 2 and 3 and nothing changes, but when removing 1 or 4 the engine cuts out.

  Hi, Is there an easy answer to this? A new ford focus estate comes fitted with 215/55/r16 tyres - load rating 93.  But how do you find out what the mimimum reccomended load rating is? Where is this found? I want to know if an existing set of winter tyres with 91 load rating (from a standard 4 door focus) can be used.

  Hi all. I have a ford fiesta 1.25 zetec that has suddenly developed a misfire on number 3 cylinder. I have checked the plugs and all ok, I have replaced the leads and coil pack but has made no difference at all. When I looked at the plugs they were all the correct biscuity colour apart from number 3 which was black, sooty and dry.

  Hi, I was wondering if anyone knew how much a new sump would cost for a Ford Focus? It would seem the D*CKHEAD who owned the car before me has had the old sump welded where he's grounded it on a speedbump probably, because of where it's wleded, you can't pull the sump plug/nut out.
