It has an outside temp gauge, but the "S" button at the bottom right of the instrument doesn't seem to make any sense. It just changes the flashing S to E to W (points of the compass? where is "N"?) and counts from 0 to 15 and back in steps of 5.

  The CV joint has split its gaiter on the front o/s.  This seems to be a regular occurrence as I've had to have new gaiters put on in the past for it to pass the MOT.  Just checking my receipts file and it was the front o/s that had a new CV joint and gaiter fitted only last August.

  I recently brought a car and have seen that it had advisory of BOTTOM METAL WATER HOSE CORRODED - N/S/F WISHBONE BUSHES STARTING TO SPLIT - N/S/F BRAKE PIPE CORRODED - FRONT EXHAUST BRAKET BROKEN in 2011 . It passed its MOT this year without mention of any of these issues but I note there is leaking water and there is slight occassional noise when I am driving .
